Real moments between real people: the chaos, the hands, the way everyone leans in.
Quiet, close and unstaged. A walk, a coffee, a look across a table.
One person, good light, and enough time to stop performing.
Some things are most beautiful because they will not stay.
Fleeting, fading, ordinary. A child's hand size, afternoon light on a kitchen wall, the way two people walk together. I look for the beauty in what is passing and in what is everyday.
Traces of presence. A photograph is what remains after a moment has gone. I shoot to keep the trace: who was here, how it felt, how the light fell.
Pick a pop-up slot or send a request for a private session. I reply with details and a place.
We walk, talk and don't pose much. I direct lightly so you can forget the camera.

Plain, comfortable clothes in muted or earthy tones work best. Avoid big logos. Layers and texture photograph well.
Mostly around Canada Water and Rotherhithe, in parks, streets and by the water. I will suggest a spot that suits the light and your plans.
We can move the session to another day or find a sheltered place. Grey light is often very good for portraits.
No. I give simple directions and let things happen between them. Most people stop thinking about the camera in the first ten minutes.

About
I am a photographer in London. I photograph families, couples and portraits around Canada Water.
My work is natural, a little reportage and a little editorial. I pay attention to angles, composition, light and shadow, and I like to try something unexpected within a calm, real moment.
The name before.it.s.gone is the idea behind it. I find beauty in the fleeting, in fading, in the everyday. A photograph is a trace of presence: proof that someone was here, in this light, together.
I started with sessions for friends and I am now opening up to more people. If you would like to be photographed, I would love to hear from you.
Shoot it before it is gone.
Light first. I choose places and times by how the light falls, then let people be in it.
Direction, not posing. A few gentle prompts and a lot of waiting for what happens between them.
Reviews
After each session I will ask for a short review and add it to this page. Until then, you can see recent work in the portfolio.
A short review on Google helps other people in the neighbourhood find me, and it means a lot. A link to my Google Business Profile will be added here.
